Your guide shares stories of sultans, explorers, and the island's Swahili fusion. Evening free to explore Forodhani Gardens night food market (optional) – try Zanzibar pizza, sugar cane juice, and fresh seafood.

Absolutely. Zanzibar is generally very welcoming, and Stone Town is pedestrian-friendly. We recommend modest dress (covering shoulders/knees) out of respect. Our guides accompany you throughout, and we hand-pick hotels in safe, central locations. Many solo travelers (including women) join our group tours – we're happy to connect you with past guests for references.
Zanzibar is pleasant year-round for cultural tours. June–October and December–February are driest and cooler. March–May (long rains) and November (short rains) see fewer crowds and lush green spice farms; we operate tours with rainproof activities. Spice tours are excellent post-rains (June & December) when spices are abundant.
Zanzibar is part of Tanzania. Most nationalities require a visa, obtainable online ($50–100) or on arrival at ZNZ airport. We provide detailed visa guidance upon booking. Your passport must be valid for 6+ months.
Yes! Most guests add 3–4 days in Zanzibar's northern/eastern beaches (Nungwi, Kendwa, Paje) after the cultural tour, or a safari in Tarangire/Serengeti. We customize extensions seamlessly – ask our specialist for a combined quote.
